Community Centre Room Bookings: The Community Centre is perfectly placed in the heart of the Community, with easy access and ample parking to suit all needs. 3 Rooms are available for hire for meetings, classes, parties and religious gatherings. There is central heating, toilet/wash facilities suitable for the disabled, storage (for long-term room bookings) and a newly installed kitchenette.
Rates are €20 for the large room, €15 for the medium-sized room and €12 for the office/small room per hour. Long-term booking rates are negotiable.
Glounthaune Area News: A free, A5, full colour, bi-monthly newsletter which is distributed locally in print form and is also sent out by email in electronic form and available to download/read here on the website’s News page. It contains news and information of all the activities and events in the area, environmental and historical articles etc.

BeAlert: We are the administrators of the Community Text Alert system ‘BeAlert’ which links members of the community directly to the Gardaí regarding any criminal or suspicious activity in the area. For more information contact us.
Community Events: We organise or facilitate the organisation of local events which are important for bringing our Community together. Recent events have included: Halloween Spook Trail, St. Patrick’s Day parade, Glounthaune 4 Mile Road Race, and Family Fun Days. If you would like to suggest a community event or would like to volunteer to help with future events, please contact us.
